The Pivotal Payments Gateway (PPG) was built on Microsoft's .NET Framework to use XML and Web Services, allowing it to co-exist in both UNIX and Windows environments. This empowers our partners to easily integrate payment processing into their current systems and applications through XML and Web services. By connecting directly to payment processors, we eliminate the need for a 3rd party gateway. The PPG works well in retail, e-commerce, wireless, and mail/phone order environments.

 

 

The PPG design incorporates multiple layers of security features to ensure maximum protection against unauthorized access to sensitive data. In order to fully leverage all the security features supported by the PPG, one must fully understand the principals of a secure system and follow a concrete strategy to implement them.

While many payment solutions have been implemented as "add-ons" to existing Web server platforms, the PPG has been built from the ground up specifically for payment transactions. The PPG can scale to meet virtually any transaction load.
